The county Appraiser's Office. On this site you can get all sorts of information. Maps and arial photos of the community, information about your house (and your neighbors') etc. A very informative site. Be sure that your get the address completely right, because their search does not tolerate mistakes. Pinellas County Appraiser's Office Remember to check the boxes for the map and photograph options -- they DO take a while to load, so be patient.
St Pete Times http://www.sptimes.com/ You can search their classifieds for a particular word. Just one of many good features on this site. You can also hold or stop your newspaper on-line if you are going away.
