The above web link was added 3/23/06. The info appears to be
24 hours behind, but accurately showed the Ridgemoor price
which was also the HIGHEST on the chart for that day.

Below are sample prices at local gas stations. The stations are numbered from South to North within the East Lake area of Palm Harbor, FL. The highest priced station(s) have a red background and the lowest priced are green -- In each case the .9 has been deleted, so $1.29 would really mean 1.29 and 9/10. Prices are based upon the road sign ad at the time of inspection.

CONCLUSIONS -- In 2001, after half of a year of monitoring, it became clear that no real patterns emerged other than the northernmost two stations had the lowest price in the community more often than others. On occasion, however, they may also have had the highest price. Generally, gas prices are lower in most OTHER areas compared with East Lake.
